I am fairly new to running (2+ years), I wanted to do something that was specifically focused on running. Pilates for Runners was a great option for me as the exercises are short, memorable and I can do them whenever I want (i.e. even when brushing my teeth). I also wanted to avoid getting injured. I love taking the sessions online with Louise as I could join from outside of the UK (I’m based in the Netherlands). Louise is an exceptional teacher – she explains every exercise so clearly and gives you feedback on your technique too.

Louise’s Pilates for Runners membership is a must for runners. The first class I did left me exhausted, but in a good way. I felt like I had experienced a thorough stretch (which I confess I rarely do after a run) and spending the class focusing on my pelvic alignment and my core muscles took such intense concentration but crucial to efficient running when you consider that running is essentially a series of one-legged movements.

I remember feeling incredibly calm and relaxed afterward, and I had a brilliant night’s sleep too!

I love the fact that the classes are live, so Louise can closely monitor my technique to ensure I’m getting the most out of the movements. I’m really happy that Pilates is now part of my regular routine, and I feel much stronger for it.

I’ve been part of the Pilates for runners’ membership for a couple of years and it has helped so much with my running, it means I stretch properly every week and it’s helped with my many niggles.

Louise is a total pro but loads of fun too, and cares so much about her clients and building a warm and friendly community.

Honestly, she sees everything and can correct you despite watching others through a screen, she is like a HAWK!

The membership has become part of my routine and I absolutely love how she runs the classes.

If you’re thinking of working with Louise, please don’t be put off by the online, honestly, it is brilliant to have the sessions to use whenever you like and the live calls.

She gives so much and it’s brilliant to be a part of it.

I’m loving the 10 minutes Pilates as it is so easy to find just 10 minutes at the beginning of the day before breakfast. It’s doing me a world of good too, I feel more subtle, energised and good about myself. I found it hard to find an hour in my week to fit Pilates in before so this way it’s really helping. I like the fact that you keep up the pace and there is no hanging around too.

The videos are great, and plenty to choose from so I can decide what suits. Am making a habit of doing one before every round of golf.

I am amazed at what a difference only 10 minutes 3-5 times a week is making. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It is like being in class at anytime I want.
It is a great way to keep going, thank you.

I am loving the Online 10 minute Pilates videos.
I like the way they focus on exercises for particular things, I have done the ‘after gardening’ and one several times.
The videos themselves are well made and clear – I feel as if I am in the room with you Louise which definitely means I make more effort than I would do on my own!
I had initially signed up for the summer to try them out over the long break but I am planning to keep going as I find they are a great start to the day. 10 minutes is very manageable each day as is the aim to do them 3 to 5 times a week.

Does what it says 10 Minutes!!!
An hour class is great but sometimes in between classes it is too easy to put off especially over the summer break. Having your instructor in your home showing you a flowing routine with the correct technique all in 10 minutes is fantastic. Best of all you can verbally say what you think (for me Shoulder Bridge) and she just smiles at you and even congratulates you at the end !!

Really feeling the benefit to my overall health and wellbeing, by doing 10 minutes of Pilates at home 4-5 times a week. In fact using the online Pilates sessions is so convenient, that I often find I do a couple of sessions at a time, leaving me feeling both mentally and physically stronger.

I have been doing Pilates with Louise for 5 years now since my back started playing up at work. Louise assessed my problems and responded to my needs individually and then within her classes and I have been so much better ever since. When I fell pregnant Louise was wonderfully supportive and helped me stay fit and well with adapted exercises for each stage of my pregnancy. I was still doing Pilates at 40 weeks pregnant and I am sure this helped with my delivery and post-natal recovery. I recommend Pilates to many of my patients these days and Louise is a knowledgable and patient teacher.

I have a bad back due to spending most of my time leant over a mixing desk. My partner suggested doing Pilates but I thought it was for women and probably not for me as I needed to be challenged. How wrong could I have been!  Louise’s class for me is one of the high points of my busy week and working hard to build a strong core has improved my back greatly. Fun classes for young and old with lots of concentration, control and breathing … but only if you’re prepared to work at it! I can’t recommend Louise’s classes enough.
