I recently posted a blog about running the London Marathon. My main reason for writing it was that it is nearly upon us. I had looked through the Official training guides. They really help you plan your running training up until the marathon but there is no mention of doing Pilates and the advantages it can bring to your running. Hence the blog.
Talking to some of my Pilates clients who have just taken up running using the NHS Couch to 5K website. It dawned on me these are the people I should be targeting. If they are taking the steps to get fitter and change habits by learning to run. This is also the time to start Pilates as well! So make sure you read the blog, ignore the marathon references, the reasons for doing Pilates and running are still the same.
