Today see’s Kite Flying Day. It was created to remind us of the feeling of freedom when flying a kite! Flying Kites are a great way to get both Adults and Children outside and moving! What better a way to get out in the fresh air. You need to walk to find a good open space to fly the kite and then there is the flying!!
On a windy day, Kite flying can be a real challenge. Without you really thinking about it you are using muscles in your arms, legs and back! If it’s really windy you are having to engage your core to keep you balanced. Perfect to put all that Pilates practice into use!! That’s what so good about Pilates it so important in everyday life!!
