This session is full of mobilising exercises and some added strength. How often do you cool down, even after a walk! Cooling down has many benefits after exercise, lowering the Heart Rate and reducing the breathing rate, cooling the body temperature and preventing blood pooling in the lower regions of the body. People use to think that Cools downs also helped reduce muscle soreness, but there is little evidence to suggest this helps. This Pilates session is a nice way to loosen up and mobilise those areas you have worked hard in your workout.
