Investing in the Summer 8 week membership is a positive step to keep your Pilates going through the summer. During the summer holidays there is so much to organise that spending time on you is usually the first thing to go. By joining you have made a commitment and we can help you get the most out of it by following a few steps.
It’s not going to be easy as there is always a reason not too!
In the lead up to you having access to the membership site on 1st July there will be some planning to do. Don’t worry it will only take about 5 – 10 minutes of thinking time – 10 minutes is going to be your magic time throughout the summer! From joining up until the membership opening you will be receiving a series of emails to take you though the set up. Make sure that you add Studio 44 Pilates to your safe senders list so you don’t miss an email from us.
To get the most out of your Summer 8 week Pilates membership you need to consider these areas:
It’s important, to use your membership to the full that you create the right environment for you to practice. This doesn’t mean candles and incense, but if it works for you go for it!
1. Where are you going to put your mat out?
Your mat doesn’t need to stay out but it’s great if you can! Make sure you leave it rolled up but keep it in sight so it’s a constant reminder! Try and also create an area where you can just go and do your Pilates by yourself and have a 10 minutes of me time.
2. What time of day are you going to do your Pilates practice?
This doesn’t need to be set in stone, but its important to know when you are going to practice. If it helps why not put a reminder on your phone.
Most of us have a favourite time of day to practice so try and fit your 10 minutes in at this time.
3. Be part of the Facebook community
It’s important to become part of the Facebook community. Until practising has become a habit it is hard to do this alone. During the summer membership there will be a closed Facebook group just for you. I will be in there daily but it is important for it to work for you too that you post too. Maybe something you are struggling with someone else is too but they hadn’t asked the question! Don’t struggle in silence!
4. It’s important to set a goal.
This can be as simple as saying ” I will practice Pilates 4 times a week” This means you have something to work towards and stay on track. I go into this more in your set up emails you will receive once you have joined up.
5. Don’t be daunted by the number of 10 minute video’s to choose from in the membership.
There are over 50, 10 minute videos in the library with more added regularly. They are all levels from Beginners to Advanced. The thought of deciding which one to do can be daunting and take up time!
As part of your summer membership I will be sending out weekly video recommendations so you can choose for your day and just do your video.
The Summer 8 week Membership is for you to keep your Pilates going throughout the summer and get all the benefits of your weekly Pilates class.
