Want to join Studio 44 Pilates 10 minute pilates online but not convinced yet! I have been hearing this a lot with people saying they are not sure, don’t think you will have the time, don’t think you will use it or don’t like exercising alone. These are all valid reasons but ones that we can get round.
Husband and Wife Guy & Rachel have subscribed hear why & what they think.
Rachel has been doing Pilates for over a year now and Guy about 5 months. I asked them a few questions about why they started Pilates and then joined 10 minute pilates.
What made you start Pilates?
R: I’d heard so many positive things about it…i was intrigued and really wanted to give it a go. I also use to run regularly however for one reason and another I couldn’t maintain it (injury, illness) Pilates is different and not so hard on my body.
G: I do a lot of sport, (triathlons) and see it has a way of preventing injury – strengthening my core!
What benefits have you found since doing Pilates?
R: I use to suffer from really bad back ache, however it’s got so much better.
G: I slipped a few discs in my back a couple of years ago and Pilates has helped by strengthening my glutes and protecting my back.
With all the sport you do has it made a difference to your body?
R: I’m sooooooo inflexible and have massively tight hamstrings. I am definitely getting better, really notice the difference before and after a session.
G: Yes my bum is bigger & harder!!! 🙂 I can definitely do the plank for longer. It has helped me address my muscle imbalance (one side of my body is a lot weaker than the other as a result of nerve damage when i slipped a disc)
You have signed up for the 10 minute online Pilate’s sessions. What made you sign up in the end?
One lesson a week was not enough, too long a gap between the sessions.
What do you like about 10 minute Pilates?
We find then relaxing as well as strengthening and it’s not hard to find 10 minutes in your day.
How often do you do 10 minute sessions?
Aim to do once a day however realistically it’s probably once every other day, we also try to do the sessions together and even do more than one session as well.
What difference have you noticed doing Pilates on a more regular bases?
Feel like we have more control over the exercises and learning to do them properly. They are definitely getting easier too! Especially when you do a few sessions at a time and end up doing 4 sets of the 100!
What time of day do you tend to do your 10 minute Pilates?
Straight after school drop off. Tend to put my exercise kit on when I get up (although easy to do in normal clothes as well) Then I don’t have an excuse not to do it!
Would you recommend 10 minute Pilates online and why?
Yes totally! It’s such an easy and convenient way of doing Pilates with great benefits and the kids can join in too!
A great chat with Rachel and Guy. I hope this has given you a different view to 10 minute Pilates online.
