Are you worried about attending the Online Pilates and
Well-being Retreat?
You have seen the Online Pilates and Well-being Retreat advertised, youâve checked out the Sales page but there is something stopping you from pressing that button to come and join us on the retreat.
I totally get it, an advert comes up in your social media feed, you like the idea but donât know anything about me or what the retreat will be like, plus there is a cost involved. I know especially at the moment with Covid -19 dominating our lives, spending money is not top priority.
So, let me answer some of the questions I have been asked and others you might be concerned about, as well as telling you a bit about me.
What is the Retreat about & who is it for?
The whole idea behind the Online Pilates and Well-Being Retreat is to find some quality time for you, and it is for anyone who wants to take a bit of control during this current situation.
In normal life itâs always pretty hard to create âme timeâ, but particularly during the last six months of the pandemic we all have added pressures; trying to stay strong for everyone and not admitting to feeling stressed or anxious.
I know I wake more during the night; I worry about the smallest things Iâm doing, and I just feel generally more tired.
But what I have noticed is that when I do take time out for me, the difference is amazing. I just need to do it more often.
So, the Retreat is about trying to help you find something that makes a difference to you. I hope youâve already seen the agenda but if you havenât you can HERE
About me
Iâm Louise, founder of Studio 44 Pilates. I have had a career in health & fitness and for the last 20 years have taught Pilates as well. Three years ago, I founded my online membership as I was aware my clients werenât attending their weekly hour class due to family & work commitments. By creating a 10-minute online Pilates membership my clients were able to find 10 minutes in their day to do Pilates regularly and still feel the benefits.
Then lockdown happened in April, the routine of regular live classes in the membership became really important and a great community started to grow. I put on my first Online Pilates Retreat and the response was amazing. We had speakers talking to us about how to cope in the current situation, learning how to journal and other skills we could learn. Many members started new habits which they are still using today. Like Sally a Pilates Plus member who said âjournaling during lockdown was a lifesaverâ
The retreat during 9th â 13th November is going to be even bigger and better, check out the agenda.

How much does it cost?
We have some great speakers who are all experts in their field, so I know the sessions will give you lots of insight into the specific topics.
PLUS, you get access to the Pilates Plus membership. So, itâs much more than just five days â itâs like having a month-long retreat as you can enjoy weekly LIVE 10- & 30-minute Pilates sessions, on Zoom. Plus, youâll have access to over 200, 10-minute Pilates videos in the Pilates workout library and a beginners Pilates course if itâs something youâve been meaning to learn. (And yes, with a 10-minute video each day you can totally learn Pilates in a month). In addition to all of that, youâll have access to all the sessions from the last Online Retreat we held in April.
I know in the current circumstances itâs harder to justify spending money on you, which is why Iâm offering the retreat for ÂŁ57 (which equates to just ÂŁ1.90 a day for the month that you have access to everything, which is less than a cup of coffee!).
Iâm working full time
When I started arranging the retreat, I was aware that people could well be working. So, all the sessions are recorded and will be available in the membership area on the same day, so you can still watch the sessions every day, at a time thatâs convenient to you. (One of my members did this in April and still raves about the sessions)
You will still have access to the speakers even if you arenât there live. All the speakers will be in the Pop-up Retreat Facebook group and able to answer any questions you might have about their sessions.
I was talking to someone today and having looked at how good the retreat agenda is, she said âI think I need to take the whole week offâ and I know some of my members are planning to take specific days off so they can actually attend the sessions theyâre most keen to do, live.
I look forward to hearing from you and really hope you can join us on the Retreat.
Remember if you can give yourself some âMEâ time then others around you will benefit too.  Why not make the most of it and bring a friend too? Send them this LINK.
How does an Online Pilates and Well-being Retreat work?
As much as I would love to do a face to face retreat itâs not possible at the moment. But a retreat is definitely something we all need at the moment, time out from âthe new normalâ
All the Online Pilates and Well-being Retreat sessions will be online via Zoom. Having worked with zoom for a long time now it is easy to use (and once you sign up with give you tips to set it up right for you to get the most out of your session).
The membership is very engaged with people from all over the UK and aboard too. We usually start a session early so we can catch up and have a chat before we get going. The speaker often comes in early too. So, there is no need to worry about it being a lonely affair. (I donât often mute people!)
All the sessions are recorded so you can watch them back at a later date or if you have missed the live session. Plus, the Pop-up Facebook group mentioned above.
How can I make the retreat special to get the most out of it?
I asked this question to my members to see how they were preparing for the Retreat.
These are their top tips
- Plan my week.
- Booking time before and after the session you want to see LIVE so I donât rush in at the last minute.
- Giving time before and after helps with creating the right mindset
- Find a special / relaxing spot away from everyone.
- Keep an open mind for all the sessions, even if you think they arenât for you.
- Bring a nice new notebook (especially if you love stationary as I do!)
I really hope this answer some of your questions about the Online Pilates & well-being Retreat and that you are excited as we are about this one.
