The Summer Holidays are nearly here (sorry to point it out!) and a lot of Pilates classes stop for the summer. While it’s great to have a break from the routine it is still important to keep your Pilates going. We all know how good the benefits are for us.
I am sure when you miss your Pilates class for a week you notice the different, stiffer, not as mobile. Old injuries that bought you to Pilates in the first place start niggling again?
Why is it so hard to do Pilates at home?
There are lots of reasons why people don’t practice at home
- Can’t remember the exercises
- Time
- Out of routine and find other things to do!
- Lack of motivation
- No one to make them do it!
Studio 44 Pilates 10 minute Pilates Online
10 minute Pilates Online was created to help solve all these excuses and get your practising!
- Can’t remember the exercises
- Studio 44 Pilates video’s step by step with teaching points all the way through.
- Video’s are all levels
- Time
- All video’s are 10 minutes long, so easy to find in your day?
- Lack of motivation
- The Summer 8 week membership is designed to help with this by weekly sessions suggested.
- Accountability
- It’s easy not to do if no one knows you are doing it. We have created a Private Facebook group for the 8 week summer membership where you can let us know what you are going to do each week!
Keeping your Pilates going through the summer will mean by the time you get back to your class in September you won’t be starting from the beginning again!

Two current subscribers tell of their 10 minute Pilates Online experience
Anthony an client of my local Pilates classes has been coming to Pilates for over a year. In all my classes I go on about regular practice every lesson! Anthony decided after a year that he was going to try it out , as this is published he is now on Day 79 of his daily practice!
Really feeling the benefit
“I started doing 10 min videos nearly everyday, with occasional sequences of my own in between to make a daily ten minutes. This after a year of doing just weekly lessons (with Studio 44 Pilates). I have managed to keep going for two months or so now. I really feel the benefit. And using the ten min videos always has me practising better than when I just string a few exercises together for myself. Well worth a try I would say,?”

Julie another client talks about her initial hesitations and results from regularly doing 10 minute Pilates online
I don’t even need to change my clothes
“I was initially a bit concerned that after a few weeks I would not find the time to log on to the 10 minutes Pilates, as often as I would like and in order to feel the benefit of them. However I soon realised that if I left my mat unrolled, I could pop and do the 10 minute Pilates sessions (sometimes longer) at any time of the day or evening – to fit in with me. I didn’t need to always change my clothing either, as I normally ware stretchy jeans or leggings”
Don’t lose the benefits of Pilates that I work hard to maintain
“We all have times in our lives when we are unwell, have other priorities (where more often than not, our own well being takes a back seat) and go on holiday. At such times, it has been great for me to be able to access the 10 minute Pilates sessions. They have enabled me to continue to feel the benefits of engaging in Pilates and not loose the core strength, balance, good posture and toning that I work hard to maintain.”
Results
“I feel I have a better quality of life from regularly engaging in Pilates. I feel my body is in pretty good shape and that I am both physically and mentally stronger, as a result of doing these 10 minute on line sessions, 3-5 times a week. I enjoy the sessions, and they often set me up for the day ahead or help me to unwind after work. They are easy to access, convenient and good for my body and sole. That’s a good enough motivator for me to continue!”
